The consulting session took place on October 8, 2013 under the aegis of the Club of Directors for Research and Innovation (iR&Dclub). The Club was created at the initiative of large business and state corporations with the support of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, RVC (Russian Venture Company), OJSC, through NRU HSE (National Research University Higher School of Economics) and VEB Innovations Fund.
The purpose of the session was the discussion of legal and financial aspects of creating investment funds, problems of legislation, experience of the largest companies in project execution.
The topic of the presentation of Branan’s experts was non-profit organizations as a form of organization of an investment venture fund.
Maxim Bunyakin told in which cases it is profitable to use a non-profit organization, how to build an efficient management system; he also defined main risks in activities of such organizations and methods of minimizing them.
Dmitry Fedorchuk concentrated on peculiarities of financing of non-profit organizations and tax aspects of their activities; he also told about methods of commercializing the results of their activities.
